Personal perspective
For me personally, the visit to the Prague Zoo was quite a disappointment. As a Dutch person, I’ve been spoiled by large, modern zoos like Diergaarde Blijdorp. Even the zoo in Antwerp, Belgium, is much more appealing than the Prague garden.
I did have a good time. The landscaping is beautiful. However, the navigation is a complete disaster. I think I must have walked through the garden at least five times that day, searching for the animals I wanted to see.
For a big city like Prague, the capital of the country, I believe the zoo deserves more attention and funding. It would only improve for the many tourists who visit the city.
