“Is the dream world the same world you meet when you transition? When we transition, do we shift the intensity of our focus to the dream world?”

My take on Seth Teachings on Dreams

This text reflects a fascinating exploration of the interplay between dreams, consciousness, and reality, drawing insights from Seth’s teachings. It underlines the powerful idea that our perceptions shape our experiences, whether in dreams or in waking life. The emphasis on self-empowerment, understanding, and the creation of one’s reality resonates strongly, encouraging readers to embrace the depth of their existence and the significance of self-awareness in shaping their journey.

Seth Teachings on Dreams and dreamworld transition

Seth: “The simple fact is that when you dream you are flying, you often are.

In the dream state you operate under the same conditions, more or less, that are native to a consciousness not focused in physical reality. Many of your experiences, therefore, are precisely those you may meet after death.”

“As your daily endeavors have meaning and purpose, so do your dream adventures, and in these also you attain various goals of your own. These you will continue in the after-death experience.

The vitality, force, life, and creativity behind your physical existence is generated in this other dimension. In other words, you are in many ways a fleshy projection of your dreaming self.

…Your experience, in other words, follows your expectations. Now the same applies to after-death experience and to the dream experience, and to any out-of-body encounters. If you are obsessed with the idea of evil, then you will meet evil conditions. If you believe in devils, then you will encounter these.

As I mentioned earlier, there is greater freedom when consciousness is not physically directed. Thoughts and emotions are constructed, again, into reality without the physical time lapse. So if you believe you will be met by a demon, you will create your own thought-form of one, not realizing that it is of your own creation.”

Having revisited these passages repeatedly in the past few years, I found myself unable to articulate the concept in my own words. I wondered why I hadn’t stored this information neatly in my mind. This brings us to the subject of forgetfulness and its layers akin to onions.

Forgetting is a frequent occurrence. Despite discovering Seth’s teachings in November 1974 and delving into Seth books again and again , I still need multiple daily reminders that I’m the architect of my reality!

It’s like walking through a waking dream, necessitating a jolt to remind myself that I indeed shape my own reality.

Sunlit forest path with mossy trees and ferns.

The situation was similar with Jane and Rob! Upon reading the books, it becomes apparent that they also had to scatter small notecard reminders throughout their home because, they struggled with forgetting!

The essence I want to stress is this: There’s a significant reason why a substantial part of Seth’s teachings delves into dreams, the afterlife, and out-of-body experiences! Quite simply, it’s because That State is what we predominantly experience! Seth mentioned that we continuously undergo out-of-body existences, transitioning between our conscious, waking moments in the physical reality (F1) – yet, we often fail to consciously acknowledge these experiences. If we do, we tend to dismiss them as mere ‘imagination’ or pure fantasy, distancing ourselves inadequately from our authentic nature – a truth we’ve inadvertently forgotten, given our tendency to overlook it.

We’re the ones creating this incredible life journey for ourselves, and I want to remind both me and you how vital it all is! Have fun exploring your dreams, get good at handling both the real world and the dream world however you like. Listen to that inner voice, spread your love everywhere – it’s what you’re made of. Help others, big or small, because every little bit counts big time. Give what you can, even if it’s just a smile in the mirror. Don’t be too hard on yourself if you forget things; it happens. Instead, remember to remember! Those notes you leave around? They’re like gentle suggestions, nudging you towards a happier, fuller, and emotionally richer life!

Seth: “Generally speaking however, no physical object can be constructed, and no action can occur, without what you are pleased to call suggestion.

No action and no material object can be perceived without inner consent and willingness. Behind every action and every construction there is indeed what you are pleased to call suggestion.

Suggestion is no more and no less than an inner willingness and consent, to allow a particular action to occur; and this consent is the trigger which sets off the subconscious mechanisms that allow you to construct inner data into physical reality.

Closing words

No matter where you are or how you’re feeling right now, remember: this journey doesn’t stop. It’s like peeling layers off an onion, whether we’re alive or beyond. We’re always changing, learning, and growing. Life throws challenges at us to help us learn and become better. Each of us creates our own world – we’re pretty amazing like that. Inside us, there’s hope, faith, love, and kindness. Try forgiving others, and especially yourself when you need it.

Always remember you are made of love.
