You are concentrating your main “conscious” energies in the state you call the waking state.
But this state, its places… are also found in the nature of your personal conscious and unconscious processes.

Seth: “Now, to some extent (pause) your waking experience (pause) can be likened to a dream state, where your personal dreams predominate, but also have their place in a larger common frame of reference. It is simply that, from your point of view, you are concentrating your main “conscious” energies in the state you call the waking state – but this state, its places (pause) are also found in the nature of your personal conscious and unconscious processes. They are nowhere to be found in the existing environment itself. All real answers to the question of the origin of the universe will come from the investigation of conscious and unconscious processes, and such investigation would show that your definitions, for example, regarding the nature of objects, limit your understanding.
These processes are all interconnected. So you are a part of the processes of nature, and therefore in certain states of consciousness you are one with nature (emphasis added). But nature is also a part of your mental processes, which means that nature naturally has its own familiarity with conscious thought and behavior. You make your distinctions in such a way that they often serve to form artificial distinctions that cut you off from larger perceptions, from those broader processes in which you are involved.
(Pause.) I have told you that even dreams persist; you detach yourselves from them, but they represent a larger inner life of psychic or mental experience from which you draw the events of your world. (Long pause.) You consider yourselves, in a sense, as living objects, which automatically makes it difficult for you to clearly imagine (pause) the processes that are part of your being, form your physical body, and carry you into other existences.”
