Giraffes are the tallest living land animals. They are native to Africa and can be found in the savannas, grasslands, and open woodlands. Giraffes have long necks and legs and can reach heights of up to 18 feet. They have a spotted coat pattern that is unique to each individual. Giraffes are herbivores and feed mainly on leaves, fruits, and flowers from trees. They are social animals and live in herds of up to 20 individuals. Giraffes are also very curious and have been known to approach humans.
